A Birthday Filled with Gratitude

My birthday was this past Friday, August 29, and I'm still feeling the love. More than anything, it's a day to pause and reflect on how grateful I am to be here and to have another year of life.

I have so much to be thankful for, and it all starts with my family.

To my super-duper amazing young men, seeing you grow into the incredible people you are is the greatest gift of all. Your strength, kindness, and humor fill my heart with so much pride. And to my parents, thank you for being my rock. Your unconditional love and endless support have shaped me into the person I am today. To my brother, thank you for always having my back. And to my older sister and my incredible younger sister, you are two of my greatest champions. Your encouragement and strength have meant the world to me, and our bond is something I'll always cherish.

I also want to give a special shout-out to my incredible Oncology team. My "village" includes every single one of you who care for me with compassion and expertise. You are more than just healthcare professionals; you are lifesavers and heroes. I am also so grateful for my entire village of family, friends and awesome prayer warriors, whose unwavering faith and support carried me through the toughest times.

This birthday wasn't just a celebration of life, but a celebration of the people who make it so full. I'm so lucky to have all of you in my corner.

I'd love to hear from you. What are you feeling most grateful for today?
